6 Bear Island

Quintessential camp only 20 feet from waters edge located on Bear Island, Lake Winnipesaukee. Located at the northern tip of the island, the property looks out to mesmerizing long-range lake and mountain views. The waterfront boasts a large dock with decking for several chairs and offers plenty of privacy on both sides. The dockside steps lead into crystal clear water with a beautiful sandy bottom. Enter the cabin into the welcoming screened porch, a place you’ll likely spend a significant amount of time. Inside you will find an open concept living, kitchen, and dining. The living area opens up to another very private deck perfect for socializing, grilling or sitting back with a good book. The main bedroom has its own 1/2 bath. A second bedroom and full bath complete the cabin. For additional space, an adorable bunkhouse sits behind the cabin complete with its own half bath. Bear Island has an abundance of trails easily accessible steps behind the bunkhouse. On Sundays, you can follow some of these trails to the well known "St. John’s on the Lake Chapel".
